Compensation: Pay Transparency & Pay Equity

What this presentation covers:

• The pay transparency landscape — what transparency actually means, which states and localities require it, what's pending, how it's enforced, and real examples of posted ranges and disclosure forms.
• The case for and against disclosure — the upside for fairness, satisfaction, applicant volume and quality, weighed against exposed inequities, engagement risk, and reduced negotiating room.
• Pay equity and what to do about it — federal laws, the persistent wage gap, how to run a pay equity audit, how to handle salary inversion and compression, and how to communicate results afterward. 

SPEAKER BIO

Joyce Marsh, Director of Client Success and Consultant, Navari

Joyce Marsh has been with Navari since 2011 and has over 30 years of experience in human resource management, at both the strategic and functional levels. She has worked in a variety of industries including financial, aerospace, technology and healthcare.

Joyce’s background includes a wide range of HR areas including Compensation; Benefits; Compliance and Employment Law; HR Management; HR Technology Performance Management; Handbook Development; Performance Management; Training and Development; and Union Work.

Joyce provides consulting services to clients in various areas of HR. As Director of Client Success and Consulting, she provides consultation and support to over 1,000 clients. Additionally, she works to assist in aligning our products to create efficiencies in support of their HR roadmaps.
